About This Fundraiser
At StreetCode Academy, our mission is to bridge the digital divide, empowering communities of color to achieve their full potential by sharing the mindset, skills, and access they need to embrace tech and innovation.
Thanks to our partners at Pledge, we are now able to support that mission through the acceptance of donations in over 130 cryptocurrencies. Our goal in doing so is to demonstrate the massive potential of crypto as fundraising tool so that other nonprofits will be inspired to try it for themselves. Most don’t realize just how transformative this new technology can be when used as a force for good. The reality is that those who stand to benefit the most are the same ones being left behind while, literally, trillions of dollars pour into this space. Imagine the effect if just a portion of those dollars made it into the hands of organizations like ours. What kind of impact would that have on the world?
