At the Prairie School of DuPage, our mission is to educate and inspire the whole child, preparing each student for a life of discovery by cultivating a strong sense of self, compassion and respect for others, and a deep connection with the natural world.

By supporting the 2024-25 Annual Giving Campaign, you will help provide an experiential, nature-based education to children ages 3-14. 100% of your donation goes directly to enhancing our curriculum, providing valuable resources for our dedicated teachers, and allowing more children to experience an environmentally focused education through our financial assistance program, grants, and scholarships.

Prairie School of DuPage is a critical part of the local ecosystem but has impacts far beyond DuPage County.  Now more than ever, our future leaders and changemakers need an environmental and global viewpoint. Growing up in an experiential, inquiry-based, and environmentally-focused school gives our alumni a unique perspective and understanding of their world. Our students learn to relate to the environment in meaningful and transformative ways and will take that understanding with them as they move on into the world.
