We are a dog training center that operates with the goal of helping dogs and people learn how to use positive-reinforcement training from educated pros, without finances being a barrier.

Our fundraising objectives are based on the core values of the School for the Dogs Fund:

1. Facilitate access to certified dog trainers: We understand the value of professional guidance when it comes to dog training. To ensure that dog owners in need have access to qualified trainers, we connect them through our platform. By either donating trainer's time or providing financial assistance through the fund, we aim to prevent behavior-based issues that may lead to dogs being relinquished to shelters.

2. Educate the public about canine learning methods and behaviors: We strive to inform the public about the importance of non-aversive, reward-based techniques. Through collaborations with like-minded trainers, our goal is to create educational content that empowers dog owners to train their dogs effectively and compassionately.

3. Offer scholarships for aspiring professional trainers: We believe in nurturing future professionals in the field of dog training. To support those who aspire to become certified trainers but need financial assistance, we provide scholarships to help fund their education. By investing in their training, we contribute to the overall growth and success of the dog training community.

4. Support mission-driven dog trainers: We celebrate and highlight the outstanding work of mission-driven dog trainers. Through recognition posts, awards, and other forms of publicity, we aim to promote their businesses and bring attention to their expertise. Additionally, by providing informed suggestions to veterinarians looking to recommend trainers, we create a network of trusted professionals in various areas.
