Their mission is to maintain a safe, no-kill solution for Pomeranians which have been abandoned, lost, abused or for other reasons must be re-homed. Each Pomeranian receives any necessary veterinary care, and is spayed or neutered prior to being placed in a qualified pet home. Southern California Pomeranian Rescue promotes responsible pet ownership by educating the public on the importance of commitment, spaying or neutering, and keeping their Pomeranian healthy and safe. Their long term goal is to build and maintain a Pomeranian Retirement Home for homeless Pomeranians in their senior years. All work is done on a volunteer basis. Southern California Pomeranian Rescue is an all volunteer group. They do not have a shelter; therefore, all of the dogs are in private foster homes throughout the Southern California area. The pomeranians come to them primarily from local shelters, owners or breeders who can no longer care for them.
