Welcome to our fundraiser page for STEAMTEEN, a transformative initiative by the FBLA students of New Haven Public Schools. We are committed to serving grades 6-12, challenging students to imagine, investigate, and invent through a rigorous S.T.E.M. education. Our mission is to make a tangible impact both in the classroom and in our community.
This year, we are thrilled to introduce STEAMTEEN, a pioneering local New Haven conference that aims to bring young minds together with renowned speakers to the Yale Peabody Museum. This event will occur three times a year and offer kids and teenagers an engaging and interactive experience with activities that include wood-craft engineering, venomics, rocket competition, science trivia, and much more as we explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) occupations. We believe in making this experience accessible to all, so we're proud to offer free admission and complimentary meals to attendees.
Your support is crucial to the success of our conferences, with the first event taking place Saturday, January 11th, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. We are reaching out to our community to help us provide a memorable event. Funds raised will go towards decorations, additional catering, and T-shirts to enrich the experience for our participants. We are deeply committed to serving the New Haven community, and with your help, we can make STEAMTEEN an unforgettable event for everyone involved.
Any donation, big or small, will greatly assist us in achieving our goals and this amazing community service project developed by high school students from around New Haven County. Together, let's inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders. Thank you for your generosity and support in bringing STEAMTEEN to life for FBLA and our community!
