LA is hurting. As students who've watched our communities destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton fires, we felt helpless. Now we're taking action. Through our friends, family, and community partners, we've mobilized a network of support that spans from local neighborhoods to the global community.
Any Help Makes an Impact - Choose How to Show Up
Local Community: Bring physical donations to support dynamic disaster relief response. Currently open at Dunn School to students and faculty. Further locations TBA.

February and March have been incredible months of growth, connection, and purpose for Teens4LA! Our founder Aliyah joined Another Awesome Day 501c3 at ETHDenver - dubbed the "Year of the Regenerates" - and we're bursting to share our latest milestones.
ETHDenver: Where Innovation Meets Impact π‘At the world's largest ethereum hackathon, Aliyah and our Another Awesome Day 501c3 mentors dove deep into the "regenerates" movement. But what exactly are regenerates? It's about using blockchain and technology to literally "regenerate" communities - healing social systems, creating sustainable solutions, and empowering grassroots change.
For Teens4LA, this was more than a conference - it was a validation of our mission. We discovered an entire ecosystem of builders committed to using blockchain for positive social impact, perfectly aligning with our Art4LA Crypto 4 Good project.
Media Momentum Growing ποΈBig news alert! While at Eth Denver Aliyah recently recorded a podcast with Genzio Media, set to drop soon. Stay tuned for insights into youth-led innovation and mental health advocacy.
Community Care in Action β€οΈWe've completed a critical drive at Aliyah's school, distributing essential goods that bring a sense of normalcy to those experiencing challenging times. From toiletries to clothes and even PlayStations, we're showing that support comes in many forms.
Introducing Our Newest Team Member! πGive a warm welcome to Madison Baffo, our new Teens4LA intern and Head of Community & Social Media! Madison is spearheading outreach across Los Angeles schools, leading crucial conversations about mental health and crisis resilience.
What's Next? UCLA Takes the Stage! π«Mark your calendars! We're gearing up for a massive Teens4LA event on the UCLA campus this fall. It's going to be epic - a gathering that bridges technology, community support, and youth empowerment.
Our journey continues to prove that when young people unite with purpose, incredible transformations happen. We're not just talking about change - we're creating it, block by block, blockchain by blockchain.
Stay connected. Stay inspired.

Hey everyone,
A big thank you for your continued support! We're mobilizing students in neighboring communities and across the nation. In case you missed it, Aliyah shared his story on KEYT News, speaking live from Dunn School about what inspired Teens4LA. Check it out here: https://keyt.com/news/2025/01/14/los-olivos-teen-raised-10k-in-three-days-for-l-a-fire-relief/
We're also excited to share that Walk Good LA has been added as a recipient organization to our donation options on Pledge. Founded during the 2020 George Floyd protests, they've been a pillar of strength in LA communities through their all-ages yoga and wellness programs. They're now offering free community programs that teens, families, and individuals affected by the fires can access for support and healing. You can find their welcoming community space at 4019 W Pico Blvd or visit www.walkgoodla.org - parents and adults, please share this resource with those who might need it.
While media coverage has focused on celebrity homes, these fires have devastated many hardworking families, particularly in culturally diverse and predominantly Black and Latino communities like Altadena. Every dollar raised will help provide mental health and skill development resources and services for youth across LA. We're proud to support community anchors like Walk Good LA who understand these needs deeply. This crisis has no boundaries, and neither does our support. πͺ
Join Aliyah and the Teens 4 LA crew this Friday at 8am PST on TimePieces and TimesforKids X spaces to learn more about our ongoing efforts and how you can help.

We're pleased to share that Teens 4 LA student leader Aliyah and supporting organizers recently met with leadership at UCLA Anderson School of Business, a pillar in Los Angeles, to coordinate comprehensive response efforts, while developing both immediate relief strategies and long-term support initiatives. A key priority of our long-term planning centers on mental health services for teens and students in impacted areas, recognizing the lasting emotional impact of this crisis on young people in our community. Stay tuned for specific opportunities to contribute to these vital programs as we work together to help our LA community recover and rebuild.
This collaboration builds upon our existing partnership with Y3K, which has been actively engaged with UCLA students through curated discussions featuring leaders in emerging tech, gaming, and blockchain gaming, and blockchain exploring the future of entertainment. You can access recaps of these informative panel discussions here. Together with Y3K, we look forward to strengthening our support of the Los Angeles community and expanding our impact through these meaningful partnerships.
