In many parts of the world, community cats face overpopulation, disease, and neglect without government support or welfare programs. Street kittens often die prematurely, while adult cats suffer injuries, malnutrition, and disease.
Without intervention, the crisis deepens: overpopulation, rampant disease, and increased public health risks. We can no longer ignore this problem.
Why Your Support Matters
Without action, many cats face a bleak future. But you can be part of the solution. Your support enables long-term, sustainable solutions that provide vital care for cats and the global communities that care for them.
What We Are Doing
Community Cats International (CCI) is an initiative that focuses on these underserved communities, providing free and low cost sterilization, vaccinations, and essential medical care. The mission is to empower local residents to improve the wellbeing of community cats, knowing that most cannot afford the necessary resources on their own.
Community Cats International is raising funds for a pilot community cat project in Bangkok, Thailand. Starting in Southeast Asia, we are creating an evidence-based model to help community cat populations in Southeast Asia and beyond.
Supporting the Human-Animal Bond: Cats bring joy to millions of people worldwide. By improving the lives of community cats, our work promotes mental health benefits, and stronger community connections—proving that caring for cats uplifts low-income communities with scarce resources.
Our Key Focus Areas:
Cat Welfare Programs: Sterilization and daily feeding
Emergency Medical Care. Life-saving care for injured and/or sick community cats
Special Needs Cat Sanctuary: Create a sanctuary for injured, ill, or disabled cats that will never be able to live safely on the streets.
Community Programs. Partnerships with Buddhist temples, local caregivers, charities and governments, our model aims for long-term, transformative impacts within local communities
