The LA Tech Community Cares Fund

  • The wildfires devastated Los Angeles. So, we’ve come together to pool the resources, connections and expertise of the greater Los Angeles Tech Community to help those in need.
  • We are dedicated to directly supporting the individuals, families, small businesses, and the workers who supported these communities with the fewest resources to recover, across the Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Malibu and other affected areas of our city.
  • In partnership with GoFundme.org, we will give a majority of the funds via direct donations after extensive vetting and determination of need. So, you can be sure your contribution is going right to those who truly need it the most.
  • We will also give a portion of the funds to multiple firefighter organizations to support the brave women and men from across the state and country who came to our aid.

SUPPORTED BY LOCAL LA FIRMS & INDIVIDUALS:

Thanks to your generosity, The LA Tech Community Cares Fund has now surpassed $1.1M in donations, directly helping people across LA who are still struggling to rebuild. With our latest grants—$500K to GoFundMe.org’s Wildfire Relief Fund and additional support for the Better Angels Emergency Response Fund. We’re ensuring 100% of funds go directly to those in need, with no fees or overhead.
Your donations are already making a difference: Families who lost everything in the fires are receiving $1K direct grants for essentials like food, shelter, and supplies. One recipient, Jasmin M., started a fundraiser for her grandmother, who lost her home of 29 years in the Eaton Canyon Fire. Now, thanks to this fund, she and her family are receiving critical assistance as they work to recover.
We’re continuing to identify and support those most affected, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for being part of this incredible community effort!
