This page can be customized with your photo and personal message and shared with your network. Dollars raised will be tracked and sent directly to Friends of Amani US. All dollars will benefit Amani's great work in Tanzania!

The mission of Amani Children's Home is to reduce the number of children living in abusive situations and working on the streets in Tanzania by providing a nurturing environment for them to heal, learn, and grow. Our ultimate goal is to safely reintegrate children back into their communities. Since inception, Amani has successfully rescued nearly 3,000 children from the streets and abuse. More than two-thirds were successfully reintegrated with family or local community members.

Amani Children's Home is supported by private donations and skilled volunteerism from people across the world. We have Friends of Amani organizations in the United States, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany and more. It is because of their generosity that the children of Amani can thrive. Volunteers make invaluable contributions to the lives of Amani kids. We welcome visitors with skills in a variety of areas and are very proud of their dedication to Amani.
