Welcoming 350 New Arrival Families

πŸ’• A Message from the organizer, Sara:

My dad was a refugee who came to the United States as a teenager, after surviving the Holocaust. Dad always tried to help people, and he showed how kindness can help to turn someone’s life around for the better. Welcoming new refugees who have survived unimaginable horrors, and who want to work to make their lives and those of their family members better, is , I think, part of being an American. All of us are made better by embracing our different backgrounds with our common full hearts!
