North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue

We are a private, donation funded, no kill rescue. Our mission is to help end pet overpopulation, abandonment and neglect. We provide care and find homes for dogs of any breed, age, or medical need. We have found homes for over 3,000 dogs in the last 13 years! We hope to have this number keep growing as we strive to save these sweet souls. Thank you for your support, we couldn't do what we do without it.

Ziggy Marley George Foundation For Cancer Research And Treatment For

The mission of the ZMGF is to assist those Universities with Pet Oncology Departments in finding the cause and hence the cure for cancer in pets. We accomplish this by vetting and visiting each University and taking a tour of its Pet Oncology Department. After the initial steps are taken and the University passes muster, we monitor our contributions by asking for and receiving progress reports. In this way we can ensure you that your donations are going for their intended purpose to find out why so many pets get cancer and to find a cure

Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation

Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to reducing the suffering and overpopulation of feral and stray free roaming community by practicing and promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We also practice Trap-Neuter-Adopt (TNA) to any adoptable cat. We believe, as a community, it is our obligation to come together and be the difference in community cats’ lives.

Resources In Search And Rescue

Our Mission is to reunite lost or missing people with their families and assist in the location of deceased individuals. We believe search is an emergency, therefore RSAR provides competent, rapid response and deployment. Our nationally certified canines and handlers assist agencies responsible for searches of lost, missing, drowned and deceased persons. Our team is certified in chain of command (NIMS) and is adept at working with and within agency parameters.

Orange County Humane Society (OCHS)

The OCHS will strive to provide temporary safe refuge for the sick, injured, lost, neglected, abused and deserted animals within its power. The shelter's goal is to find a permanent, loving home for all of its animals and to provide rehabilitation whenever possible. The shelter believes that we are the final hope for these animals and it is our obligation to strive to do the best we can to rescue them from their unfortunate situation.
