Friends For Life Animal Rescue

Our Mission Statement is to significantly impact animal overpopulation through aggressive programs focusing on rescue, spay and neuter, adoptions, and education.  We do not believe euthanasia is the answer to population control.  All animals are equally important regardless of their health, age, temperament, appearance, or degree of socialization.  Overpopulation significantly contributes to animal abuse, neglect, disease, suffering and is the primary cause of euthanasia programs.  The best approach to overpopulation is spay and neuter, and educating the public as to the benefits of spay and neuter.

Castoff Pet Rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs and cats; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.

K 9 Angels Rescue

K-9 Angels Rescue is committed to rescuing and re-homing shelter dogs in and around the City of Houston, regardless of their breed or their circumstance. We are motivated by the dire need to educate the public about the effects of irresponsible breeding practices, while helping the community by alleviating overcrowding in area shelters. As we believe proper health care of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership, K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted and altered.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Bulldog Club Of America Rescue Network

Rescue of English BulldogsWe offer new beginnings for English Bulldogs that are homeless, abandoned or surrendered. Some come from cruelty; some from ambivalence. Some Bulldogs come to us simply because an owner is elderly or sick and can no longer care for a much-loved pet, or there has been a divorce, job loss or illness in the family. The Bulldog Rescue Network is also a resource for people hoping to bring an English Bulldog into their lives. Whether you will open your heart and provide temporary housing and care (fostering) to a recently rescued Bulldog, or wish to provide a rescued Bulldog a forever home, the Bulldog Rescue Network extends to almost every state in the U.S.

Giraffe Project

The Giraffe Heroes Project (aka the Giraffe Project) moves people to stick their necks out for the common good, and gives them tools to succeed. We find real heroes and tell their stories over traditional and social media. These stories inspire others to move into action too, helping solve tough public problems. Knowing that inspiration is rarely enough on its own, we publish books and blogs, update www.giraffe.org, give speeches and workshops and publish an E-zine, all aimed at giving activists both the inspiring stories and the practical tools needed to effect real change. We can't do this without the help of people like you.

PAWS is ran by a group of volunteers that are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and puppies. We are open to any breed and as long as we have room, we do not say no. We will try to find a specific breed or age of dog in a shelter as an alternative to someone buying from a breeder. We believe that all Puppies Are Worth Saving.PAWS pulls dogs and puppies from dangerous situations and places them in loving, caring, forever homes. We work with a group of dedicated fosters to ensure that the dogs are getting the love and care that they need.
