Pet Angels Rescue

Pet Angels Rescue Inc. saves primarily dogs and cats from public shelters, or pets that can’t remain at their current homes & citizens that have taken in strays. We are dedicated to the sheltering and placement of animals, and public education of animal care and dedicated to bring people and animals together to enrich each other’s lives. We believe that with Pet Angels Rescue’s assistance, many animals can remain in their current homes instead of being admitted to animal shelters, while a new home is found. We advocate the importance of spaying and neutering to help stop the epidemic of pet overpopulation as well as providing education to current and future pet owners on responsible lifetime pet.

Retriever Rescue Of Las Vegas Limited

Many breed specific dogs are being tortured and killed daily abroad because their blood is considered pure-the torture tenderizes the meat. Breeds such as Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers -are at high risk. They are loving by nature -making them easier targets for Evil Meat Farms. The dogs we rescue are not simply meat to feed people because they are hungry. They are believed to be a delicacy and highly priced. These breeds are found in Meat Markets abroad being sold as meat, which is not what our fight is; it is against the cruelty and abuse that is happening in many of these Dog meat farms is why we started focusing on saving these furbabies. Our mission is to match a furbaby in need with a furever family and stop animal cruelty forever.

Pangolin Conservation And Research Foundation Ohio

PangolinConservation.org is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization (under its parent organization, Zoological Conservation) that is dedicated to promoting the conservation, education, and research of the world’s most fascinating mammals! Why is this important? Pangolins are declining at an alarming rate due to the illegal trade to supply Asian traditional medicine. The four Asian pangolin species have been reduced to critical numbers. With Asian species becoming increasingly rare, smugglers are now turning towards Africa to supply demand. The four African species populations are believed to be decreasing due to illegal trade and habitat destruction. If the illegal trade continues to expand in Africa, they’ll be in the same position as their Asian cousins. We’re working with African pangolins BEFORE their populations crash.

Caring For Creatures Foundation

Caring For Creatures' Mission is to provide a safe & healthy environment in which to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, neglected, abused, or otherwise homeless dogs and cats; In addition, the sanctuary provides a lifetime home, if necessary, for animals that are elderly, disabled, and/or have a chronic condition requiring specialized care, and;Connect with members of the community to assist with animal-related issues. We believe that a key to reducing the number of animals being surrendered to animal care agencies is to help as many individuals as possible resolve their animal-related problem. We help them understand the plight of animals, in general, and guide them through steps that enable them to keep their animal rather than surrender them to a rescue or shelter.

BOW VALLEY SPCA

The Bow Valley SPCA has completed the construction of our innovative No-Kill, No-Cage Adoption Centre – the first of its kind in Canada. The Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre's design is based on the organization's no-kill, no-cage philosophy. This philosophy requires the environment to be more sensitive to the needs of dogs and cats. Design elements include dog cabins and cat chalets which comfortably accommodate three to five animals, allowing for animal compatibility and in-room visits with people. This creates a more people- and animal-friendly environment. The Bow Valley SCPA’s no-kill, no-cage philosophy extends beyond the Centre design. Now that we are open – we are busy generating greater awareness in humane animal treatment and reducing the number of abandoned animals in the Bow Valley through our adoption services, humane education and spay/neuter programs. Animals cannot help themselves. You can make a difference. Donate to the fund of your choice today.

Joshua Fund

The Joshua Fund Dog Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high kill, overcrowded shelters across the US who are in danger of euthanasia. Our breed focus is Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes. Our main base of operation is Lake Placid, NY and we have a satellite Team in Houston, Texas. We have rescued many dogs and puppies from many other states and placed them in pre-approved loving homes in the North. The only way we can continue our mission is with donations from people just like you. We don't receive any monetary help from government agencies or animal organizations. We strive to save as many dogs as we can. We place them into foster homes and treat the dogs for all medical needs until they are healthy, happy and cleared for travel to Lake Placid, NY for adoption.

My Cat Jeoffry Bookstore And Cat Lounge

Is to get homeless animals adopted in an atmosphere that is more comfortable and home-like than a regular shelter, as well as to promote compassion toward and empathy for animals through literature. We want to be a meeting place where the community can learn about and celebrate animals. We seek to improve literacy and compassion through reading and writing by hosting therapy sessions where patrons can practice reading to an animal, and writing programs where young people can write a story about a favorite animal to be included in a published book. More on that last project, which we are really excited about, soon! We currently are online only but plan to open in brick-and-mortar form after the pandemic is over. We will likely open in Phoenix, AZ. We will partner with a rescue to house wonderful felines up for adoption. So you will be able to browse books and play with the cats! Since we are a nonprofit all proceeds go back to the animals.

Last Chance for Animals

Last Chance for Animals (LCA) recognizes that animals have the ability to experience pain, and as such they deserve certain basic rights protecting them from pain caused by humans. LCA believes that non-human animals should not be subjected to suffering and exploitation by humans because alternatives exist for nearly every traditional "usage" of animals. LCA opposes the use of animals for scientific curiosity, entertainment, clothing, and food. LCA recognizes the use of non-human animals in medical experimentation as both immoral and of questionable scientific validity due to the tremendous biological difference between species. LCA's work advocates conscious and informed lifestyle decisions, and the organization is committed to disseminating truthful information about societal animal abuse to improve the treatment of animals.
