Erins Farm Nfp

At Erins Farm, we believe that it is important for our next generation to witness, experience and understand nature in all of its true forms to ensure that we all will become better stewards for the future. Our farm is the result of over 25 years of dedication & service towards animal awareness. We strive to provide an amazing home for our rescued animals as well as a unique opportunity for the public to get the needed exposure and education about animals in our food and farm industry as well as reptiles and other exotics found in nature. Inspired by Jane Goodall’s foundation & message for peace, unity & understanding, we have molded our farm mission around rescue, education and exposure to all of the worlds sentient beings.

Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary

Farm animals have the same emotional capacity as traditional companions like dogs and cats, yet modern cruelty laws do not apply to them. Under the law, they are seen as mere objects for human use. At Ching Farm, we fill a need in the Salt Lake area by advocating for farm animals through rescue, education, and adoption/placement services. We believe that our advocate work can help change perceptions of farm animals and create a deeper respect for the rich emotional lives of these animals. Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary was founded by Faith and Mike Ching in Utah in 1998. The farm became incorporated as Ching Farm Rescue as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible.

People United for Pets

Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them. We strive to match our dogs' needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship. Our primary focus is on small purebred or mixed breed dogs, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We have no central facility. Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption.

Kindred Community Farm Sanctuary (formally SALI's Farm)

Our goal is to help children and animals heal and help break the cycle of violence. SALI's Guardian Program provides for the needs of companion animals of women & children fleeing violence, isolated seniors, and people living in poverty and on the street. SALI believes that all members of our community deserve the love and support of pets, especially our most vulnerable. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our two-legged and four-legged community members.

Halfway Home Rescue

Halfway Home Rescue Inc is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals. We provide spay/neuter and other veterinary care to every animal that passes through our doors. Our phones ring 24/7 and we try our best to keep up with the calls, as space and finances allow. No one takes a salary. More than 500 lives are saved each year and no animals are ever euthanized for space. The constant struggle to assist every animal in need spreads our volunteers very thin. We need all the help we can get to continue our work. HHR's success is reliant on the kindness and generosity of those who believe in the work that we do.

Love This Horse Equine Rescue

"Love This Horse, Equine Rescue Inc." is a horse rescue specializing in taking in forgotten, neglected and abused Arabian horses from local animal shelters, distressed owners, from low-end local horse auctions, and law enforcement seizures. We bring them into a safe and nurturing environment, where they are brought back to health. When the horses are strong enough, they are evaluated, and if possible, restarted for a new life as a riding horse. We believe that every horse deserves a job. For some of our horses, this means becoming a great trail or lesson horses. Others are destined to become therapy horses, helping kids and adults healing from their own deep wounds. We work hard to take care of these horses, all the while knowing that the horses are secretly taking care of us.

Puppy Pleasers Rescue

Puppy Pleasers Rescue is a private non-profit no-kill 501c3 licensed rescue developed to find loving homes for dogs and puppies who are in shelters, abandoned, or are unable to be cared for (owner-surrendered). Most of our rescues are puppies. This is our main focus since this will help the development of our little friends while they are young and just beginning. However, we do also take in adults and large breeds. We are not breed-specific and believe all breeds are deserving of love and care. Puppy Pleasers Rescue also works with and supports the prevention of over-population by "performing" and requiring the spay and neutering of animals as well as the spread of canine diseases by adhering requirements set by law and encouraging the upkeep by adopters. All rescues go to their new homes under a fair and simple contract that is expected to be thoroughly read and followed.

We take on helpless stray and surrendered animals, as well as those at the top of the euthanasia list at local and national shelters. We place our rescues in nurturing foster homes while they rebuild their lives through physical and mental rehabilitation. Following a hassle free adoption process, our Rescues are placed in loving & committed permanent homes. Our commitment to our rescues does not stop once the adoption paperwork is signed. We stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our Fosters, Adopters, and community on what it means to be a good pet owner.

Metro Cat Rescue Society

Metro Cat Rescue intervenes when a cat's life is at risk. We bring inside mother cats living in the streets so their kittens can grow happy and healthy and hope for good homes. Metro Cat Rescue also coordinates the care of community cats. The dream of Metro Cat Rescue is to establish a facility to provide care for homeless kittens and cats with easily treated but contagious conditions -- those innocents that now elsewhere regularly are made to die. Sadly, a lack of funds has kept Metro Cat Rescue's goal on a distant horizon. Without the necessary resources, each day there are cats that we can't help. If Metro Cat Rescue had better facilities and a dependable used SUV or van for transportation, there's so much more that we could do. Metro Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3). Donations, gifts, and bequests are US tax deductible. You can also check if your employer has a corporate matching gift program.

Dachshund Rescue Educationawareness & Mentoring Dream Of Geo

dreamrescue.org DREAM stands for DACHSHUND RESCUE, EDUCATION, AWARENESS, and MENTORING We are an all-volunteer organization that rescues dachshund and dachshund mixes. We provide foster homes for abandoned, abused, or unwanted dachshunds and help them on their way to finding a permanent and loving home. VISION & MISSION We envision a time when every dachshund in Georgia has a loving home for its entire life. We believe that the welfare of our companion animals is an indication of the health of our society. We see the current welfare of our companion animals as a disease. To treat the symptoms of this disease, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dachshunds in need. To treat the causes of this disease, we educate the public on compassionate dog guardianship of any breed. We want to have a deep, direct impact in a limited geographic area, rather than a small impact in a large geographical area.
