The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas is a corps of youth and adults, staff and volunteers, families and local citizens who believe that the power of words, well-written and well-spoken, can open doors to important opportunities. Our tutoring, writing, and publishing programs prepare young people, ages 6 to 18, for a successful future by developing strong writing skills, championing diverse communication styles, and motivating young people to share their stories. Programs at each Fearless Ideas center reach into the surrounding neighborhood to involve adults and businesses in helping youth become engaged citizens and confident leaders. All programs are free and open to families from any socio-economic background.

The Bridge Initiative is women-led artistic collective and incubator in Phoenix, Arizona that uses theatre and media to build bridges in our community. We believe theatre can act as a mirror and a window to inspire growth and build community. We envision an equitable industry where women and other historically and systemically marginalized groups are safe, represented, and valued. We aspire to a healthy, multi-tiered professional theatre ecosystem in Arizona that provides just compensation and the highest quality artistic opportunities from new work incubation to full production. We want to build a community of safe and brave spaces where artists and audience use theatre and media to spark dialogue, inspire reflection, and grow a better world.

To perpetuate the heritage of Jaguar Cars in North America, being a major archive of printed material, specialty tools related to Jaguar Cars, and desirable older Jaguar Cars. Providing annual scholarships to students interested in the automotive restoration arts, and attending accredited programs for the restoration of older (Classic) cars. Be a resource for historical information related to the restoration and repair of Jaguar Cars, and providing information, copies of out of print documents, loan specialty tools to anyone with an interest or need related to Jaguar Cars. Serve the needs of the Jaguar Enthusiast throughout North Americaby providing a forum for the exchange of information, and ideas. We believe that the cars should be enjoyed and driven/raced, and we should share the joy.

Casey Cares provides ongoing uplifting programs for families with critically ill children in seven states and Washington, D.C. Believing in the importance of family, the programs at Casey Cares are structured to bring comfort and support to families during an extremely difficult time. The Casey Cares Foundation programs give families the chance to share treasured moments and become a source of strength for each other. Children under the age of 18 who are on active treatment for a critical illness may participate in our programs. Children who participate in Casey Cares Foundation programs suffer from various illnesses, including cancer, sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, complex heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and severe aplastic anemia.

Our mission is to support unique young people in their self-development and in realisation of their plans: either educational, scientific or professional. We believe that in this way we can guarantee the development of society. Thus we: - help students, and young scientists implement their ideas: original research, or other initiatives for education, science, culture, or business - we provide friendly environment and expert support, - support talented pupils, and students who, aware of their abilities, have courage to conquer the highest peaks. The Broken Arrow Band Booster Club is comprised of hundreds of dedicated and talented adults who work toward a common goal of providing life-changing experiences for their children. The Broken Arrow Band Program with the assistance of the Band Booster Club annually hosts world-class events to support the program. The Broken Arrow bands enjoy rich traditions and great support from parents, school administrators and the community. Each student, instructor and parent volunteer in the organization understands that they are but temporary stewards of the program and as such, they must diligently protect what has been entrusted to them. They firmly believe it is the journey that make the difference and the growth attained through the process is more important that any product that may result.

The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW) was founded by Thurman E. Scott in 1990, with a mission to help people achieve their potential through drama. From conservatory classrooms to housing facilities to corporate boardrooms, we use our creative process technique as a tool to develop individual potential, create tangible change, and liberate the talents and abilities in people from all walks of life. ATW believes that creativity is the great equalizer and unifier among human beings, and that theater must play an active role in a community’s life. At ATW’s heart is our robust roster of community programs that use theater to engage historically marginalized populations, from children experiencing housing instability to formerly incarcerated persons.

The Jewish Women’s Archive documents Jewish women’s stories, elevates their voices, and inspires them to be agents of change. The Jewish Women’s Archive is an international organization dedicated to collecting and promoting the extraordinary stories of Jewish women. JWA explores the past as a framework for understanding the pressing issues of our time; inspires young people with remarkable role models; and uses Jewish women’s stories to excite people to see themselves as agents of change. Our website is the world’s largest collection of information on Jewish women, and draws more than 3 million visitors a year seeking information, inspiration, community, and a sense of identity. We hope you enjoy exploring the thousands of stories of inspiring women! JWA also hosts public programs; trains the thought leaders of tomorrow through the Rising Voices Fellowship; sparks conversation with its blog, podcast, and social media presence; and is a leading voice in feminist and Jewish spheres.

The Edward S. Curtis/Sacred Legacy Museum will bring the Sacred Legacy of beauty, heart and spirit to the world in ways that Curtis and his Native friends could never have imagined. It would also establish a single source facility for research on Curtis’s body of work. It will create increased understanding of and appreciation for, the beauty of the natural world, her diversity and to honor the inclusion of all peoples. The Christopher G. Cardozo/Edward S. Curtis Collection will be the foundation of the Museum. We hope to be open in 2018 – the sesquicentennial of Curtis’s birth. I believe The Museum will be a significant cultural, artistic, and economic asset for the city in which it is ultimately located. Launching in Seattle with two events through my colleague and dear friend, Cynthia Alexander.

Our mission is to help ordinary people in crisis. Our experiences of visiting orphanages in Haiti convinced us that we could make a difference and at the very least we should try. Utilizing the wide range of skills of our volunteers in focused and efficient project delivery allows us to directly improve life for Haiti's vulnerable children. We are a non-denominational, non-governmental and non-political organisation. All the work carried out is on a voluntary basis, with the team giving freely of their time and expertise. Fundraising is channeled into project costs including materials, labour costs and equipment. All volunteers pay their own flight and accommodation costs. There are no salaries or administration costs and as a result, 100% of all donations go directly to our projects in Haiti. From August 2011 to Easter 2015 we had been working on an island off the south coast of Haiti called Ill A Vache at the l'Oeuvre St. Francois D'Assises Orphanage. The orphanage is home to 70 children, thirty of whom are severely disabled and upwards of twenty need daily physiotherapy treatment. During our time there, ESPWA planned and completed a number of different projects at the orphanage including an extension to the physiotherapy room, a medical room extension, a washroom, showers and toilets, wheelchair access paths and ramps, and general building works. We also shipped a restored tractor and trailer, plough, harrow and concrete mixer to the island and donated it to the orphanage. All of our projects employ local men and women to help with the work, with the intention of training and also creating employment and income for the local village and surrounding areas. Great friendships have been forged over the years, through broken English, Haitian Creole and French. Since Easter 2015 ,our volunteers have travelled at least twice a year to another Orphanage in Kenscoff, high up in the mountains over Port au Prince, run by Gena Heraty, a Mayo native, and improved the infrastructure within by putting in place 100s of cubic metres of wheelchair access paths and ramps. There are over 300 children and young adults living in the orphanage with more than 40 children with severe disabilities. We have a huge programme of work ongoing for this orphanage and will have for years to come. As part of this programme , as of October 2022, we have sent 40 container loads of much needed humanitarian aid , medical supplies and a wide range of vital equipment to our friends in Haiti and when emptied the containers have been converted into a house, classroom, outreach centre, clinic and storage lockup. The total cost of buying , filling and transporting a container is approximately 10,000 and any help you can give us either as an individual ,employee matching scheme or Corporate support would be most appreciated. Please remember we are all Volunteers , we have no employees , Volunteers pay ALL of their own expenses such as flights and accommodation so every cent you donate goes to those who need it most. 826michigan inspires school-aged students to write confidently and skillfully with the help of adult volunteers in their communities. Our writing and tutoring programs uphold a culture of creativity and imagination and support students in establishing strong habits of mind. Through publication and community engagement, we provide students with an authentic and enthusiastic audience for their writing. Our programs provide an energizing creative outlet for students and meaningful volunteer opportunities for community members. We believe that with one-on-one attention from caring adults, students improve their academic performance, develop a sense of belonging, and discover the unique value of their voices. With this understanding in mind, we provide drop-in tutoring, field trips, after-school workshops, in-schools tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.
