OUR MISSION.Our primary mission is to help children growing up in institutionalized homes prepare for life outside the home once they reach the age of 18. We offer support programs that increase a child's opportunity to become a productive and financially independent young adult in their community. This means helping kids develop and hone critical skills such as language, writing, digital literacy, etc., and ultimately increase confidence levels that can lead to new opportunities and choices in the future. Providing tutoring support, internship opportunities, as well as guidance on university/technical school options will offer children another critical layer of support as they start to make plans for their future. Developed skill sets, solid communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of their options will help set kids on the right path towards successful independence. This is no easy task for any child, but it can prove especially challenging for kids without continual 1:1 attention. It is our hope that by providing educational and mentoring-based support, we will be improving their overall chances.

The mission of the Skirball Cultural Center is to explore the connections between four thousand years of Jewish heritage and the vitality of American democratic ideals. The Skirball welcomes and seeks to inspire people of every ethnic and cultural identity. Guided by memories and experiences, the Skirball aspires to build a society in which all can feel at home. The Skirball presents the experience of the Jewish people - their traditions, aspirations, and values - as a metaphor for the many immigrant groups that journey to America, strengthening the multicultural fabric of this society.

CODAR truly makes dreams come true for all animals rescued through our organization. We save animals from high kill shelters throughout the east coast states. We do not have a physical location for you to see our pets. All rescued animals are placed into our network of foster homes, vetted, and given the proper care, love and attention they deserve, until they find the forever family they so desperately need.

The Riley Children's Foundation is dedicated to the health and well-being of Indiana children through its philanthropic leadership of Riley Hospital for Children, a renowned pediatric medical center and Indiana's only comprehensive children's hospital; Camp Riley, a nurturing recreational environment for children with special needs; and the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home, the nation's only late-Victorian preservation that is open to the public, educating young and old on the life of James Whitcomb Riley, renowned as the "Hoosier Poet."

Citadel Theatre is committed to producing exciting, compelling, emotionally and intellectually rich work of the highest caliber by bringing together gifted professionals from all theatrical disciplines. Citadel seeks to provide a home for an audience that wants to experience powerful works of insight and complexity, works that illuminate the challenges and joys of the human experience. In doing this citadel seeks to provide a creative haven for passionate, visionary directors, writers, actors and designers dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of professionalism.

The objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution are promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. We accomplish our mission through over 2,700 chapters in the US and twelve foreign countries. Our Americana Collection houses over 5,000 documents focusing on early America. The DAR Library includes 160,000 volumes of genealogical information. The DAR Museum, which is free and open to the public, is home to a collection of over 30,000 objects and 31 Period Rooms prior to 1840.

Mission: Sol Treasures awakens and nurtures appreciation and passion for the arts in people of all ages in South Monterey County and provides a home for creative and inspiring opportunities to unify the community through art and cultureDescription: Sol Treasures provides rural residents an easily accessible location in which to enjoy and exhibit featured works of local artists. Classes are available to the general public as well as to school children. Both visual and performing arts are available and provided throughout the community and at the art center.

The LCHS is committed to the humane treatment of all animals and actively performs cruelty investigations in St. Catharines, Lincoln, Grimsby, Thorold and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Taking in over 4,500 animals each year and adopting cats to forever homes for only $25, the LCHS needs your financial support to continue our important work. The whole wide world in a little black box. Strawdog Theatre Company is committed to ensemble acting and an immersive design approach, offering Chicago the premiere storefront theatre experience. We develop new work, re-imagine classic plays, explore new fusions of music and theatre, ask provocative questions and deliver the unexpected to our audience. We provide a home for our celebrated ensemble to work and play with the most sought after artists in Chicago theatre along with the best new talents in the city.

FilmScene's mission is to challenge, inspire, educate, and entertain our diverse communities through the shared discovery of film. FilmScene is Iowa City's nonprofit cinema, working in partnership with the Bijou Film Board, a University of Iowa student organization, to present films at two locations on five permanent screens and a seasonal outdoor cinema. From our home in Downtown Iowa City, we enrich the cultural vitality of the surrounding area through community-supported programming that showcases exceptional American and international filmmaking in a vibrant, accessible, equitable, and welcoming space.

In the wake of September 11, 2001, a group of Los Angeles media instructors and professionals gathered to discuss the tragedy. They were determined to “go global” and make a major, long-term impact on the world community.The Teen International Media Exchange (TIME) was born, and found a home at the Media Academy at Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, CA, where two of the founders teach.Today, TIME is a non-profit organization with an explicit mission: to empower the energy of teenagers and the dynamic power of the media to create a peaceful, cooperative world community.

The Indiana Military Museum is dedicated to fostering the memory, understanding, and appreciation of U.S. military history. This is accomplished by maintaining, preserving, and displaying artifacts which represent the strength and freedom of our American heritage. Located in historic Vincennes, the Indiana Military Museum is home to one of the best, most comprehensive collections of military memorabilia in the country. In addition to the museum’s own artifacts, including military vehicles, aircraft, uniforms, insignia, and equipment from the American Revolution to present day, it also hosts traveling exhibits from the Smithsonian Institution and others.
