In the past year, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, assisted approximately 28,000 neighbours in Waterloo Region. Yearly, The Food Bank distributes over 3 million pounds of food to community individuals who are facing challenging circumstances. Food is distributed through a partnership of 76 member agencies and community programs which provide emergency food hampers and meals. Jeff’s Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which focuses on orphanages and unfortunate children in the world. Our goal is to help the children have a better life. We will donate 100% of the funds collected and all time donated by volunteers to an orphanage chosen that year. Our mission is to put smiles on these children’s faces just like Jeff has smiled his way through life, even with so many struggles. Hebrews 13:16 “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

Our mission at Green World Health Network is to improve health and at the same time create a more sustainable planet. We believe that our future as a people and planet depends on identifying and strengthening the connections between health, quality of life, and the environment. We work towards this goal by implementing innovative projects which utilize green technologies and practices to improve health and quality of life in under-resourced communities in the US and throughout the world.

To connect families with sponsors who provide supplemental income to help meet the families’ basic needs of food, shelter and education. F2F strives to develop long-term sustainable supportive relationships between sponsors and recipient families by fostering a personal connection between them. F2F sponsors believe that alleviating the struggle to provide for their children’s’ basic needs and education gives the families a foundation on which to grow, seek opportunities for employment, and improve their future.

At Heroic Hearts, our mission is to empower and uplift marginalized communities worldwide. AMURT is a relief and development organization with projects in thirty countries across the globe, applying its philosophy that every human being deserves the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling life. This often translates into helping people procure the basic necessities of life: shelter, healthy food and water, education, health awareness and income generating capacity. We believe that the happiness of one depends upon the happiness of many, so we build bonds of solidarity amongst people.

At Nivas we believe that a healthy, safe home environment is crucial to moving families beyond poverty. Focusing our efforts in rural Nepal, we assist extremely vulnerable families to build new homes or amend their current homes; creating safe, healthy and resilient places to raise their children. By empowering families to have a safe home situation, they are able to go about the business of making life wonderful, engaging in opportunity, and expanding horizons.

Mission: To provide a Christian home, family and education to the impoverished youth in our communities. Casa Estrella Foundation, was founded in 2006 hostessing over 150 orphans through out the years, from ages 3 to up 18 years old. In 2014 we opened the first Private Christian School, from pre-K to High School. We have 360 students, this school year we gave 90 scholarships to mothers with low income and struggling families that have been separated from parents. SASS Go is on a mission to eradicate assault, abuse, and trafficking against women and girls globally through prevention education, self defense training, and crisis response consulting. Our dedicated team believes all women deserve to learn the skills needed to save their own lives. The women and girls we serve are as diverse in age, background, and experience as the world they inhabit with over 50% receiving our services through partial or full scholarships. At Millennium Promise, our vision is the eradication of extreme poverty, hunger, and preventable disease within our lifetime. We believe that extreme poverty can be cut in half by 2015, even in some of the poorest, most remote places in the world. Through the Millennium Villages Project we are showing how, using a holistic, science-based approach to benefit more than 500,000 people across sub-Saharan Africa. Our mission is to provide the operational platform and resource mobilization for the Millennium Villages Project.

Feed Hope empowers the joyful children of Malawi out of extreme poverty. Our projects focus on four key areas: Clean water, Nutrition, Health and Education. We believe a holistic, community-based approach is the best way to effect sustainable change.
