We believe that all citizens deserve a chance to learn to read, write, speak, and do simple computations. We believe that breaking the inter-generational cycle of illiteracy will significantly reduce the social ills of poverty, welfare dependency, dead-end jobs, family violence, unemployment, homelessness, teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse and high school dropouts.ur mission is to increase adult and childhood literacy in Lumpkin County.

The Team HBCU Foundation supports future and current historically black college and university students through college and career readiness and scholarships. The students we support attend over 53 historically black colleges and universities. Thank you for your donation.

The Sunjams Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to use music as a healing force. We present live outdoor concerts as a way of bringing people together who also believe in the healing power of music. Our goal is to help fund music education in local public elementary schools because we believe that music education is one of the most effective means of helping kids develop a positive connection with school.

We also believe that every child, regardless of circumstance, should have access to a quality education.Justice Rising builds peace in war-affected communities by providing quality education to children at risk. We build schools, train teacher leaders, and develop community programs towards the goal of promoting peace and mitigating future conflict.

Founded in 1897, Allendale is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to excellence and innovation in the care, treatment, education and advocacy for families, children and youth with serious emotional, mental and behavioral health challenges.
