Our mission is to help low-income teenagers transform what they believe is possible for themselves and develop the skills they need to become college educated leaders who give back to their families and communities.

The Esther Vexler Yoga School (EVYS) was the first Yoga Alliance teacher training in South Texas and is still the only non-profit program in the area. We are committed to serving our community by providing low-cost yoga education, outreach, and scholarships for qualified students.Our comprehensive curriculum includes: *Authentic teaching in yoga philosophy and ongoing discussion of how to apply these principles to foster transformation in yourself and your students * Anatomy and biomechanics to increase your knowledge of your own body and prepare you to teach safely – including proper alignment, modifications and use of props * Intelligent discussion that blends up to date scientific information with traditional yogic principles and is free from the constraints of any one “brand" or style of yoga *A diverse, inclusive community that supports your growth and transformationThe EVYS program will enable you to craft thoughtful, safe, and meaningful yoga classes for any level of student. You will benefit from studying traditional and more contemporary yoga practices, while incorporating anatomy, safe sequencing, pranayama and yoga sutra study.

Our philosophy is based on the belief that every child is a wonderful gift from God, made in his image and likeness, and they are filled with dignity, goodness, and an incredible potential for discovery, learning, and growth. We believe in providing age appropriate activities for the children that will develop and enhance their natural curiosity and imagination. We also believe parents are the primary teachers of their preschool children and they are entrusting their children to our loving care. Accordingly, the family is an integral part of our program and their participation is an essential element to the success of our program.

MONTESSORI PARENTS CO-OP FOR CHILDREN IS A NON-PROFIT MONTESSORI SCHOOL FOUNDED IN 1985 LOCATED IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA. MPCC IS STRUCTURED FOR CHILDREN AGES 18 MONTHS THROUGH THE 6TH GRADE AND OFFERS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD TO BE PART OF PARENT-RUN COOPERATIVE EDUCATION.

Move Forward is a dance, basketball, rap program to uplift traumatized children. Our coaches work in refugee camps, shelters and slums. We believe movement and music are effective ways for coping with trauma.
