McCallie School

Founded in 1905, the McCallie School is an all-boys boarding and day school with approximately 900 students in grades 6-12. The McCallie School's mission is to prepare its students for college and for life. The school is dedicated to the academic, physical, spiritual, and emotional growth of boys. It seeks to inspire and motivate them: to pursue excellence and take pride in one's work and achievements; to lead lives of personal honor; to be responsible in family and personal relationships; and to manifest concern for the welfare of others. McCallie believes that its on-going Christian tradition builds a strong moral foundation and a sense of civic and social duty.

St. Joseph's Indian School

St. Joseph's Indian School is a Native American Nonprofit Organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of Lakota Sioux children and families. Our mission is to educate Native American youth for life — mind, body, heart and spirit. This mission drives our organization to educate and provide housing for over 200 Lakota Sioux children each year. Child poverty and abuse are serious issues on Indian reservations. By supporting St. Joseph's Indian School, you are helping Native American children in need reestablish pride in the Lakota (Sioux) culture by learning the Lakota language, studying Native American culture and healing the broken family circle from which they come. Our organization provides an opportunity for Lakota (Sioux) children to escape extreme poverty and abuse when they attend St. Joseph's Indian School.

Strong City Baltimore

Strong City Baltimore helps people who do good do more.We are a 50-year-old grassroots nonprofit that builds and strengthens neighborhoods and people. Our mission focus is enhancing the capacity of residents and social change-makers to improve their communities. Yes We Can World Foundation

We believe every child has the right to an education regardless of their location, legal status and/or economic background. The Yes We Can Mobile Schools Program is the first bilingual school program for migrant children at the US-MX border. The program currently operates 3 school in the border cities of Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez. The program has enrolled over 1,700 migrant children. The program operates full time from Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm and is taught by accredited teachers. In the program migrant children are given access to full bilingual interactive classrooms, play areas and access to technology.

California Family Foundation

Beechwood is a private independent school community of 170 students, 30 staff members, and over 100 families. The school includes one class per grade from Kinder Prep through Eighth Grade. Beechwood offers its young learners a safe, nurturing environment that addresses the academic and social needs of each child. MISSION STATEMENT We believe that all our students have within them the power to succeed. MIND Research Institute

Our mission is to ensure that all students are mathematically equipped to solve the world's most challenging problems. To achieve this goal, we are changing the way math is taught in the United States. We believe every child has the potential to be a powerful learner and to acquire the problem-solving and math proficiency needed to compete in a knowledge-based economy. Through our uniquely visual, non-language-based approach to teaching math — delivered through our ST Math instructional software — students across the country are deeply understanding math, developing perseverance and problem-solving skills, and becoming life-long learners prepared for success.

The Broken Arrow Band Booster Club is comprised of hundreds of dedicated and talented adults who work toward a common goal of providing life-changing experiences for their children. The Broken Arrow Band Program with the assistance of the Band Booster Club annually hosts world-class events to support the program. The Broken Arrow bands enjoy rich traditions and great support from parents, school administrators and the community. Each student, instructor and parent volunteer in the organization understands that they are but temporary stewards of the program and as such, they must diligently protect what has been entrusted to them. They firmly believe it is the journey that make the difference and the growth attained through the process is more important that any product that may result.

Statement Junky

Statement Junky is a youth development and global leadership program for girls of color in High School. We create a safe and inspiring space for girls to thrive and build lifelong relationships while focusing on the development of the whole girl. In partnership with schools and community-based organizations, our program equips girls to navigate economic and social barriers within their community and abroad through leadership, education, exploration, and positive identity development. At the conclusion of each program, all girls are gifted with an essential key to access the world – her first passport. We believe travel is not reward for working but experience for living. We’re devoted to creating future world leaders by changing the way our girls see the world.

Bellevue Wolverine Boosters

BHS Water Polo Boosters mission is to promote water polo in the area, enable athletes to practice and compete in a safe, positive, and fun environment and allow athletes to enjoy water polo while balancing other pursuits and interests. The team provides training and competition, in a no-cut sport, not supported by the school district or otherwise known as a club sport, for all athletes regardless of skill or experience level. While success in the water is important, our coaches also believe personal development out of the water is just as critical. The coaches promise to create an environment where athletes can reach their full potential both physically and personally by utilizing positive coaching techniques and stressing teamwork and sportsmanship.

The Greater Seattle Bureau Of Fearless Ideas

The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas is a corps of youth and adults, staff and volunteers, families and local citizens who believe that the power of words, well-written and well-spoken, can open doors to important opportunities. Our tutoring, writing, and publishing programs prepare young people, ages 6 to 18, for a successful future by developing strong writing skills, championing diverse communication styles, and motivating young people to share their stories. Programs at each Fearless Ideas center reach into the surrounding neighborhood to involve adults and businesses in helping youth become engaged citizens and confident leaders. All programs are free and open to families from any socio-economic background.
