Move for Miles believes play is powerful. We believe we can harness the Power of Play to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research, offer sMiles to families in treatment, and support the long term treatment of survivors.

Books for Development addresses the book famine that prevents children and adults in many developing countries from learning to read. We do this by building library collections since we believe that the best contribution you can make to people’s development is to promote their literacy. As a non-profit, we take donated books, use volunteers to sort them and then ship them to poor countries to create libraries. We leverage our efforts--using free labor and donated books that might otherwise be dumped in a land fill. Books for Development was formerly known as Good Steward Global Initiative.

The Sisters of Life are women who are in love with Love – Love incarnate, crucified, and Risen – and captivated by the truth of the beauty of every human person, created in God’s image and likeness. We are a volunteer organization that strives to help moms with newly-diagnosed babies with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). We provide care packages to make your stay in hospital a little easier. We also provide information and links to many resources to help you better understand HLHS. All our volunteers are moms with children who have HLHS and who understand what you are going through.

End of Life Washington upholds your right to the full range of end-of-life choices, including Death with Dignity, through advocacy, education, and support. If you or someone you know needs information and support related to end-of-life options, End of Life Washington can help. We can offer support for: - Talking to your loved ones about dying. - Making decisions about what you want at the end of life. - Talking to your physician about hospice, palliative care, and pain management. - Finding hospice providers. - Understanding all options to achieve a peaceful death including Washington’s Death with Dignity Act and Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking (VSED).

The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) provides support groups, advocacy, educational programs, empowerment, recovery tools, and information to people living with depression and bipolar disorder in the United States. DBSA San Jose is a local chapter serving the Silicon Valley with peer-led support group meetings, wellness tools, and resource information for the South Bay area.
