By letting Purple Plunge be a part of that support system that surrounds cancer fighters we will prove that “Community is Stronger Than Cancer.” Purple Plunge is dedicated to making each day about being with family, focusing on health, and not stressing over the day to day responsibilities that cloud the mind of those fighting cancer. Whether it is a little extra gas money, house cleaning, a date night, or some assistance with utilities, Purple Plunge will work with each cancer survivor to lighten their financial burdens. The Wheels Of Happiness Foundation helps people with disabilities to become independent and reintegrate, and add value to their communities. We provide people with motor disabilities with medical equipment and supplies, scholarships, psychological help and inspiration to make them independent and therefore more productive. By doing this, we believe that everybody wins. The Foundation is funded by the help of corporate and individual donors and by special events.

We believe that recovery from substance use disorder is possible. We consider it our duty to bring attention to the common misconceptions of substance use disorder. We seek to provide knowledge, hope and funds to help those families and individuals affected by this wide-spread epidemic and disease. "Save our families. Save our friends. Save our future."

At Salt & Light we believe that holy yoga, fitness, proper nutrition, and spirituality will change the world. With 25,000 women and girls falling prey to trafficking every year in Chicago alone, we manifest change by providing a volunteer-driven, one-year long program for survivors of trafficking with the dual goal of healing and empowering women to get jobs in the wellness sector.

HRHF is an arm of Hope Rising Homes, Corporation (HRHC). Our mission is to give orphans, vulnerable and at-risk children a better life, by providing hope for a brighter future and a vision of life beyond their present vulnerable situations. HRHC strives to provide food, housing, education, and health care services; as well as rehabilitation, and clinical and faith-based counseling services to these needy children. HRHC aims to provide opportunities for the children to pursue either educational and/or job training, and other skill enhancements needed to become productive citizens. Additionally, by offering positive role models to guide and mentor these children, HRHC believes the children will overcome their negative pasts, and move on to bright and prosperous futures. We strongly believe that with the proper intervention, these children will thrive, develop to their full potential, and positively influence and contribute to their immediate communities and to the society at large.

Red Star Riders believes every child, regardless of their abilities, should experience the joy of riding a bike. We help raise funds to assist families in purchasing adaptive tricycles for children with physical disabilities. Red Star Riders is dedicated to improving the lives of children who have encountered physical limitations and health obstacles by assisting families using specialized adaptive equipment.

We believe that all deserve adequate food, housing, and respect. We assist our neighbors in obtaining basic needs that affirm their human dignity and worth. We make sure that our neighbors have food on their tables and roofs over their heads.We serve clients in Washington State's Greater North Seattle, including Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Bothell, and Kenmore.

The Fortune Society's mission is to support successful re-entry from prison and promote alternatives to incarceration, thus strengthening the fabric of our communities. We do this by: BELIEVING in the power of individuals to change, BUILDING LIVES through service programs shaped by the needs and experience of our clients, and CHANGING MINDS through education and advocacy that work to rectify unjust and brutal criminal justice policies.

The Josh Powell Foundation was founded in honor of 1LT William Joshua Powell by his loving wife, Fabi. At 25 years old, Josh was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Synovial Sarcoma in his lower abdomen/pelvis. This cancer took his life two years and 25 days later, just one month after marrying the love of his life. Fabi has made it her mission to create a legacy in honor of her late husband. This legacy was built around the Keep Going/Never Die Easy wristbands Josh designed while battling cancer as well as the Keep Going statement he wrote explaining the meaning behind them. Josh’s wristbands and statement are sent out weekly to sarcoma patients, loved ones, caretakers, and surviving family members needing, hope, strength, and encouragement to Keep Going. When you encourage people battling adversity to Keep Going and fight their fight despite the odds stacked against them, you create a ripple effect. This ripple effect allows these individuals to encourage even more people, and the mission lives on.
