At Valley Center for the Blind we join together in a spirit of dedication to assist blind and visually impaired persons in experiencing a more independent and opportunity filled life. With over 40 years of experience, Valley Center for the Blind believes that every individual should have the opportunity to live independently and we teach adaptive techniques to make this a possibility for the visually impaired. Our primary goal is to support each and every client that walks through our doors. Whether it be educational support from our classes, emotional assistance from our counselors, or a new camaraderie found in one of our activities. We aspire to serve anyone dealing wtih vision loss and vision impairment by helping them reestablish independence, build confidence, and find new ways to enjoy life!

To connect families with sponsors who provide supplemental income to help meet the families’ basic needs of food, shelter and education. F2F strives to develop long-term sustainable supportive relationships between sponsors and recipient families by fostering a personal connection between them. F2F sponsors believe that alleviating the struggle to provide for their children’s’ basic needs and education gives the families a foundation on which to grow, seek opportunities for employment, and improve their future.

At Nivas we believe that a healthy, safe home environment is crucial to moving families beyond poverty. Focusing our efforts in rural Nepal, we assist extremely vulnerable families to build new homes or amend their current homes; creating safe, healthy and resilient places to raise their children. By empowering families to have a safe home situation, they are able to go about the business of making life wonderful, engaging in opportunity, and expanding horizons.

Ledwith Lewis Free Clinic

The Ledwith-LewisFree Clinic is a community-based organization providing quality healthcare / mental health in the Middle Peninsula and Norther Neck Regions of Virginia at no charge to low-income, uninsured people.   Believing that citizens who work at being productive deserve access to adequate medical care, our goal is to provide this care through the efforts of volunteer professionals and support staff, and the contributions of individuals, churches, civic groups and businesses who share this vision.

Embrace Kids Foundation

Embrace Kids Foundation exists to lighten the burden and improve the quality of life for children with cancer, sickle cell and other serious disorders in the New Jersey/New York City metropolitan area. Underlying all of our programs is our goal to help maintain as much normalcy as possible in our patients’ lives by addressing the spiritual, emotional and financial issues of the kids and their families. We believe that addressing the needs of the patient and families as a whole is a critical part of caring for the child.

Plymouth Healing Communities

Plymouth Healing Communities (PHC) provides companionship, housing and advocacy for individuals who live with mental illness and have experienced homelessness. Our transitional home has a living room, a garden, and a large enough table for everyone to gather for dinners, which they do five nights a week. Our permanent housing is nestled in neighborhoods and comes with friends. At Plymouth Healing Communities, we believe healing happens when vulnerable people are shown care, love, and respect.

National Breast Center Foundation

The National Breast Center Foundation exists to improve the lives of women by removing barriers that prevent them from getting proper screening, diagnosis, and education about breast cancer. Our region has the HIGHEST incidence and mortality from breast cancer in the nation. Women in our area also have one of the highest rates of late stage breast cancer. Something has to happen to address this crisis. I believe that education, access, and technology are the answer.
