The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. We defend the rights of blind people of all ages and provide information and support to families with blind children, older Americans who are losing vision, and more. Founded in 1940, the NFB is the transformative membership and advocacy organization of blind Americans with affiliates, chapters, and divisions in the fifty states, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico. Together, with love, hope, and determination, we transform dreams into reality.

Community Based Care of Central Florida envisions a world in which every child has a safe, loving and nurturing home – free from abuse, neglect and abandonment. Our services include Fostering, Adoption and Diversion. As the region’s leading child welfare organization, we serve more than 3,000 kids each day. Our services include foster care, adoption, mentoring and youth transitional services – along with resources that strengthen and empower families. To empower individuals to lead fulfilling, self-determined lives by providing the needed supports to make informed choices, build relationships, experience respect, and make contributions as fully participating citizens. The HIVE uses a different model and different way of thinking than most of us are used to, and we like it that way! We are a learning and community-connecting club for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism spectrum. Unlike an adult daycare, you can use Community Living Support hours at the HIVE to work on individual goals in a safe, fun, interactive environment that is conducive to learning and values your unique gifts and abilities.

Mission: To provide a Christian home, family and education to the impoverished youth in our communities. Casa Estrella Foundation, was founded in 2006 hostessing over 150 orphans through out the years, from ages 3 to up 18 years old. In 2014 we opened the first Private Christian School, from pre-K to High School. We have 360 students, this school year we gave 90 scholarships to mothers with low income and struggling families that have been separated from parents. In 2010, we started Love is Louder with The Jed Foundation to amplify a simple message – love and support are louder than any voice that tries to bring us down. Our movement started at a time when there was a lot of anger and confusion online after a series of tragedies involving bullying. Six years later, hundreds of thousands of you have grown the movement around the world. We’ve relaunched Love is Louder as a community because we want to turn our message into action. We want individuals and communities all over the globe to commit to taking actions that make us all feel more connected and supported.

With 34 centers in 12 states, partners like you have quietly built the largest pregnancy resource center in the country. No one serve more pregnant women or at risk families as early in pregnancy when intervention can be most effective. Our mission is to give women the support, confidence, resources and education they need to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. And after the baby is born, that's when our work really begins. Creating nurturing parents and loving families. With our free care that is easy to access without an appointment our centers quickly become the go-to-resource for at risk pregnant women and their families.

The BC Cancer Foundation is the bridge that connects philanthropic support and research breakthroughs in cancer knowledge. The Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN) is a nonprofit support, resource, and advocacy organization for individuals, families, and professionals. Our mission is to support, educate, and connect individuals with down syndrome, their families, and communities in North Carolina. We believe that the community benefits when individuals with Down syndrome are understood, respected, and appreciated. Lives are enriched when they are included in schools, recreation, workplaces, neighborhoods, and faith communities. We support individuals with Down syndrome and the communities they live in so that everyone can achieve their full potential.

MISSION: Concordia Welfare & Education Foundation is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization founded by Lutheran Christians and dedicated to improving the lives of impoverished rural communities in Asia through education and service. Founded in 1998, the mission of the Keating Center is to provide recovery services for alcoholics and drug addicts in a sober living environment. Sober living services should be available to any man or woman who has the genuine determination to overcome their alcoholism or addiction without regard to their ability to pay for the help they require. That vision calls for these services to be provided without the direct assistance of any Local, State or Federal agency, depending instead upon the private support of individuals and organizations who believe in communities helping themselves.
