Homewood Foundation

Homewood Retirement Centers, Inc. is a non-profit organization for 2,000 residents at six retirement communities in Williamsport and Frederick, MD; in Hanover, Martinsburg, and Everett, PA; and, in Strasburg, VA. The Homewood Foundation, the fund-raising arm of the organization, raises approx. $2.0-$2.5 million a year for benevolent care, capital projects, and special projects. Homewood welcomes all people regardless of race, creed, or religion.

Chicagoland Methodist Senior Services

Provides Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation for the elderly. WESLEY PLACE - is a 108-bed Medicare licensed nursing facility featuring a warm, comfortable setting with private and semi-private accomodations. Wesley Place prides itself on creating a sense of community, where all residents can count on feeling at home. Our services include four levels of individualized care: light nursing, moderate nursing, skilled nursing, and specialized alzheimer's care. Therapy, rehabilitation and respite stays are also available. We have a complete rehabilitation facility, on site, which is staffed with licensed occupational and physical therapists and equipped with a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment. At all levels of care, residents receive personalized attention from our professional, compassionate staff members, who are certified in pain management, wound care, IV therapy and nutrition management. A Long Swim

The organization is primarily dedicated to using open water and marathon swimming to raise awareness and funding for charitable causes. Funds raised will go to programs and projects that maximize the prospects of medical research or other worthy endeavors related to the purposes of those charities

Womens Division Christian Service Gum Moon Residence Hall

Gum Moon Women's Residence and the Asian Women's Resource Center (AWRC), are projects of the Methodist Church established to address the unmet needs of women and children in geographic and social transition. In providing a safe sanctuary to live in and programs that develop life skills, Gum Moon empowers these individuals, fostering stability, self-reliance, self-determination, and full access to opportunity.

Health Foundation

The World Health Foundation for Development and Peace, founded by Dr. Warter, is a non-profit, educational organization whose mission is to disseminate ideas and programs that generate greater health, well being and a higher standard of living across the world. This work is accomplished by empowering individuals and groups to create projects in their home regions that are in alignment with their own vision for their communities. A better quality of life, holistic health, ecological education and public policy grounded in an altruistic perspective for public service are its objectives.

Pediatric Research And Advocacy Initiative

Today, 1 in 5 children suffer a severe mental impairment and very few are ever evaluated for immune-mediated inflammatory brain diseases. They exist to spread awareness of neuroimmune disorders, advocate for quality patient care, and support data-driven research that will ultimately lead to effective treatments and cures for these disorders. To accomplish this, PRAI raises and deploys donations to educate physicians and clinicians, fund groundbreaking scientific studies, enable parents to contribute to the scientific process through registering information in data repositories for trend analysis, and engaging in pilot projects through patient-centered research initiatives.

Heritage Christian Services Foundation

THE HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SERVICES FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO RAISE MONEY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE SUPPORTED BY HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SERVICES. THE FOUNDATION HELPS FUND HCS INITIATIVES THAT INCLUDE WORKFORCE AND TALENT RETENTION, THE WESTERN NEW YORK EMPLOYER RESOURCE NETWORK, AND THE HOME WITH HEARTS PROJECT. THE FOUNDATION HELPS HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SERVICES SUPPORT COMPENSATION TO RETAIN DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF. AS AN INTEGRAL RESOURCE, THE SUCCESS COACH IN WESTERN NEW YORK WILL WORK DIRECTLY WITH EMPLOYEES OF HCS TO CONNECT THEM TO RESOURCES TO BUILD AND SUSTAIN HEALTHY LIVES THROUGH THE EMPLOYER RESOURCE NETWORK. INCREASING THE LIVABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF RESIDENTIAL HOMES IS AN IMMEDIATE SAFETY CONCERN. HOME MODIFICATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL SO THAT PEOPLE CAN EVACUATE SAFELY IN AN EMERGENCY AND FACE THE CHALLENGES OF AGING WITH EQUITY. MORE THAN HALF OF THOSE WE SUPPORT ARE LIVING WITH MEDICAL COMPLEXITIES, AND MORE THAN 60% ARE MORE THAN 50 YEARS OLD.
