Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden. Watson Children's Shelter is dedicated to providing emergency shelter care in a safe and nurturing environment to children who have experienced abuse, neglect and/or family crisis. Our primary intervention program, Healthy Foundations, works with expecting families in our community from prenatal care through 3-5 years of age, providing support and connecting parents to resources that will allow them to provide the lives they wish for their children. We serve over 100 children through our shelter care facility each year, for days, weeks, months, or years at a time, reaching all of Montana from the heart of Missoula. Watson has continued to grow over the years, and our vision for the future would allow us to provide more personalized therapeutic care across the duration of our children's stays. The mission of Clackamas Women's Services is to break the isolation of domestic and sexual violence. Clackamas Women’s Services helps individuals and families experiencing and healing from domestic and sexual violence, child and elder abuse, stalking, dating violence, and trafficking. We work with survivors currently experiencing violence to plan for their safety, as well as help to heal from trauma in the past. Our programs and services are free, confidential, available in multiple languages, and with any accommodations needed. Our support is available regardless of gender identification, sexual orientation, age, and immigration status to ensure anyone escaping violence can access the resources they deserve. Birthright is a non-profit organization providing free, confidential and professional counseling as well as practical assistance to women facing an untimely pregnancy. Birthright offers positive alternatives to abortion. We believe in the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born.

Pratthanadee is an award-winning charity providing life-changing training for underprivileged women and girls in Bangkok and the rural Isaan region of Thailand. The Foundation empowers under-educated women and girls to become confident, independent and ambitious individuals. Through training in crucial skills, such as negotiation, self-presentation, and goal-setting, women are equipped to access better job opportunities and higher salaries. They leave training with the lifelong tools they need to build a more positive life for themselves and their families. The women that Pratthanadee works with have often migrated from a poor rural area to the city, in order to find work and send money home to their families. Over half moved to Bangkok when they were under 18, often on their own. 34% reached only primary school and the remainder have high schooling only and no additional training. They have few marketable skills and little work experience. On arrival in Bangkok, they find their employment opportunities restricted to unskilled manufacturing and service-sector occupations, and the commercial sex sector is one of the few places where they can earn a good wage. As a result, they easily get stuck in a cycle of unstable, unregulated or low-paid work. These women face a high risk of violence and exploitation as they are: - Often isolated in Bangkok and cut off from their usual support network back home. - Financially dependent on a particular employer or a relationship, and therefore unwilling to question any behaviour that might result in losing money to send for their families. - Often working in high-risk jobs where they feel easily replaceable, such as domestic homes, massage and entertainment parlours, and factories. We aim to help two groups: 1) Uneducated women who are already in Bangkok, either looking for work or stuck in a cycle of low quality employment. 2) Teenage girls who are at risk of falling into the same trap. The underlying philosophy of our organization is best found in the words of Ruby Manikan, "If you educate a man you educate a person, but if you educate a woman you educate a family."
