Growing Home transforms families by nurturing children, strengthening families, and creating community. Our vision is to see the community working together so all children and their families have a place to call home, food on the table, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Boles Children's Home, founded in 1924, functioned in its first three decades as an orphanage utilizing dormitory living for large groups of children. Beginning in the mid-fifties, it transitioned into a children's home, with smaller groups of boys and girls living in cottages with houseparent couples. In the mid-eighties, the transition continued toward the present multi-program Child and Family Services agency providing a range of residential, counseling, and vocational services to children and to single-parent mothers and their children. Throughout its history, Boles Home has maintained the foundational Christian values, woven into the fabric of its service programs. Boles has provided a home to over 21,0000 Children in its 84 years of service. No child or family is turned away because of race, religion, color, national origin, or inability to pay.

Harvest Home transforms the lives of homeless pregnant women and their children by providing housing, support, and programs that equip women to become great mothers.

Home of the Innocents has been our region's open arms to kids in crisis since 1880. The Home provides therapeutic, loving care to children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect; children who are medically fragile; children with autism and other behavioral health diagnoses; and families with a host of exceptional needs. The VFW National Home assists military, veterans, and their families with children, by creating a foundation of services and resources to achieve their personal and family goals in order to move forward in a positive, safe and healthy environment. Formerly known as "VFW National Home for Children."

The mission of the Children's Attention Home is to providing nurturing care and life-changing services for youth and families in need. Since 1970, the Children’s Attention Home has provided nurturing care and life-changing services for over 8,500 of the community’s most vulnerable youth and families. Primarily serving teens ages 13+, the Home comes alongside every youth, meeting them where they are, investing in their strengths, and preparing them for the journey ahead. Through the Home's residential and day service programs, youth up to age 21 in SC foster care and young adults ages 17-20 facing housing instability receive the attention and care they need to pursue healthy independence and sustainable success.
