We believe that parental care is essential to the development of premature infants. ​ We are striving to increase each NICU parent's ability to care personally for their precious newborn by partnering with hospital social services departments nationwide to provide travel expenses for NICU families. ​ In the past we have helped by offering: ​ Prepaid Gas Cards Rail and Bus Tickets Assistance with airfare Assistance with lodging fees Assistance with meal fees ​ Every family situation is unique which is why we ask that you contact your hospital social worker. They will help you determine the possible expenses you will have during your baby's stay in the NICU. They will be able to reach out to CHF on your behalf & we will take it from there!

Chemo Buddies is a grassroots non profit organization that provides a group of dedicated volunteers who serve cancer patients while they are in the treatment room receiving chemotherapy. Chemo is time consuming — it can take up to 8 hours — and this leaves many patients without their normal support person or family. The Chemo Buddies volunteers serve as companions for patients, and help with snacks, books, games, blankets and the kind of hospitality you would hope to receive if you were visiting someone's home. Our goal is to make chemo a more comfortable and life giving experience physically, mentally and spiritually. We are here because we believe, "No one should ever have to go through chemo alone."

Pace Center for Girls believes our communities are stronger when girls and women have the opportunity to thrive. We do this by fostering safe and supportive spaces that help our girls achieve their goals beyond what they believed possible . Our exceptional team of counselors and educators take into consideration each girl’s unique strengths, experiences as young women, and history with trauma when creating their individualized plans of care. In support of of our vision, Pace offers full academic services, counseling, life-skills training, career preparation and more in 23 communities and growing. We have seen transformational improvements among our girls personally and professionally. Seven out of 10 girls graduate from high school, pursue higher education or secure employment after the program, and nine out of 10 have experienced overall academic improvement. All girls, regardless of their story, deserve safe and supportive spaces to overcome obstacles that help them become strong, compassionate and successful women. When girls are offered the tools and support they need to succeed, a ripple effect occurs in our families and communities. Whatever your need may be – employment, navigating VA benefits, or simply meeting other warriors in the Upstate – we want to support you. We offer face-to-face case coordination. Our warrior advocates assess your current needs, connect you to our network of community resources, and help you generate goals and actionable steps towards your next mission in life.

Move for Miles believes play is powerful. We believe we can harness the Power of Play to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research, offer sMiles to families in treatment, and support the long term treatment of survivors.

Our mission is to inspire girls to believe in themselves, to get an education, to reach their full potential and to let their voices be heard. However, in order for them to have the space to do this we cannot simply focus on them. We need to change the mindset of the entire society about their value within the community. We believe the communities have their own strengths and capabilities to make this change, they need to be empowered to believe it too.
