At Nivas we believe that a healthy, safe home environment is crucial to moving families beyond poverty. Focusing our efforts in rural Nepal, we assist extremely vulnerable families to build new homes or amend their current homes; creating safe, healthy and resilient places to raise their children. By empowering families to have a safe home situation, they are able to go about the business of making life wonderful, engaging in opportunity, and expanding horizons.

Holt International is dedicated to carrying out God's plan for every child to have a permanent, loving family. Holt believes that, first, children should be in safe and secure families, and secondly, if a child?s own family is not safe and secure, the child should be provided care in a family-like environment while their family is rehabilitated, or if that is not possible, to provide nurturing family-like care until a permanent family placement can be found through either domestic or intercountry adoption.

At DC KinCare Alliance, we seek to achieve a future where all DC children live in safe and stable homes without fear of abuse or neglect. We believe that supporting relative caregivers (often grandmothers) who raise DC children in crisis will help accomplish this goal. We work to support relative caregivers who have opened their homes and hearts to DC’s most vulnerable and at-risk children whose parents are not able to care for them.

The Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN) is a nonprofit support, resource, and advocacy organization for individuals, families, and professionals. Our mission is to support, educate, and connect individuals with down syndrome, their families, and communities in North Carolina. We believe that the community benefits when individuals with Down syndrome are understood, respected, and appreciated. Lives are enriched when they are included in schools, recreation, workplaces, neighborhoods, and faith communities. We support individuals with Down syndrome and the communities they live in so that everyone can achieve their full potential.

Friends of African Village Libraries is committed to long-term management of and support for small community libraries in rural Africa. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships with community libraries, rather than provide an initial donation and move on to another village. We believe that every child and adult should have the opportunity to pick up a book and read, so we are dedicated to increasing access to reading material and other information in rural villages in sub-Saharan Africa.

MISSION: Concordia Welfare & Education Foundation is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization founded by Lutheran Christians and dedicated to improving the lives of impoverished rural communities in Asia through education and service. The Idaho Youth Ranch provides troubled children and families a bridge to a valued, responsible and productive future.To this end, we help each child find the hope, vision, courage and will to succeed. We provide stability, opportunity and security. We encourage growth and offer a chance to develop confidence, independence, esteem and respect. We teach values, responsibility and self discipline in honest, caring environments. We believe in family, work, accountability, education and responsible behavior. We are a catalyst for change.

Hope Scarves is an international non-profit organization based in Louisville, Ky. We collect scarves and stories of hope from women who have faced cancer and then send them on to others in treatment. We also raise money for translational research because we believe hope comes in many forms, but research is key for improved treatment options and outcomes. Since our founding in 2012 we have grown exponentially and affectionately become known as the “sisterhood of the traveling scarves.”
