Ronald McDonald House Charities Of Chicagoland And Northwest Indiana

We believe when a child is sick, a family is sick and we exist so that families can get better together. We support children and families at five area Ronald McDonald Houses®, three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms® and two Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles®. Each night, we keep 153 families close to the care and resources they need. Allowing families to stay close to their child in the hospital supports the child’s health and well-being while saving our families hotel and food costs.

Circle City Villages

We are Circle City Villages and we hope to bring a tiny home village to Indianapolis for those experiencing homelessness. We are a collective made up of those who are formerly homeless, pastors, social workers, architects, mental health caretakers, bankers, retirees and substance use recovery specialists. We believe in the power of community and the healing it can bring to those experiencing even the toughest of situations in their lives. Still in the planning stages, Circle City Village is a tiny house community that serves as transitional housing where friends experiencing homelessness can find healing and take the next steps to a sustainable life in an environment where they are supported and embraced.

Emmaus House Of Saginaw Inc

Emmaus House was started in 1987 by Sister Shirley Orand and Sister Marietta Fritz. The ministry began as an extension of their jail ministry when Sister Marietta became aware that many of the women who where released from jail returned to the streets. It was apparent that women being released from jail, prison and drug rehab needed a safe place to live while re-establishing their lives. Their purpose is to provide the women with a family-like Christian atmosphere while they are creating new lives for themselves. They do not judge or dwell on the past. They believe that all women are unique, precious creations from God. Their mission is to join them in their journey, walking alongside them on the road to physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, just as Christ did on the road to Emmaus.
