G.P.S’s mission is to help the youth customize an individual map for their PURPOSE by providing guidance, resources, motivation, timelines and strategies. We believe everyone has a purpose; but in order to fulfill your purpose you must have a plan and have tools to deal with any obstacle you may face in life. We provide teaching, mentoring and training aimed at helping the youth to develop a plan for their future.

Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by changing the first 1,000 days of a child's life. We work with our families living below the poverty line from pregnancy through the child’s third birthday. We believe in tackling poverty neighborhood by neighborhood and empowering the mamas. Community matters- particularly when you are a new immigrant mama. Knowledge matters- particularly when you didn’t have strong role models growing up.Books matter – particularly when you don’t have any in your home. Food matters – it is hard to learn and focus if you are hungry. We get it. We see it every day. We are changing it - day by day, child by child, neighborhood by neighborhood.

Pace Center for Girls believes our communities are stronger when girls and women have the opportunity to thrive. We do this by fostering safe and supportive spaces that help our girls achieve their goals beyond what they believed possible . Our exceptional team of counselors and educators take into consideration each girl’s unique strengths, experiences as young women, and history with trauma when creating their individualized plans of care. In support of of our vision, Pace offers full academic services, counseling, life-skills training, career preparation and more in 23 communities and growing. We have seen transformational improvements among our girls personally and professionally. Seven out of 10 girls graduate from high school, pursue higher education or secure employment after the program, and nine out of 10 have experienced overall academic improvement. All girls, regardless of their story, deserve safe and supportive spaces to overcome obstacles that help them become strong, compassionate and successful women. When girls are offered the tools and support they need to succeed, a ripple effect occurs in our families and communities.
