ProjectQ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that gives over 700 free haircuts to LGBTQIA homeless youth annually. While giving free haircuts to queer homeless youth does not solidify a home for them, it does give them the self-esteem they need to know they deserve a home. Hair products & supplies are purchased using your donations. Give what you can and help a demographic that is in constant danger!

MissionKind to Kids Foundation believes that every child deserves a bright future. We deliver education, advocacy and guidance to children in foster care, poverty and at-risk with case management education services and resources to give children the support they need to succeed in life. Since our founding in 2008, we have served over 17,000 children in need.

CALE Now is a program that transforms the lives of young people through innovative methods to teach them about the world and how they can impact it. We reach kids at a critical age at which they face peer pressure, self esteem issues, and decisions that begin to shape the future of a person. The mission of Stand for Children is to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, graduate from high school prepared for, and with access to, a college education. We believe all children deserve an equal opportunity to succeed in life. Education is the key that unlocks the door to success but far too many children, through no fault of their own, aren't getting the education they need to make it in life.

Their Mission is to provide a platform that connects people by empowering them to create a difference in the world. Team Up is a custom nonprofit that empowers social activists to create their own charitable campaigns globally. They aim to support both large and small charitable campaigns whether it’s in your community or across the world. At Team Up, they truly believe that everyone is capable of giving back to the world.

The Wheels Of Happiness Foundation helps people with disabilities to become independent and reintegrate, and add value to their communities. We provide people with motor disabilities with medical equipment and supplies, scholarships, psychological help and inspiration to make them independent and therefore more productive. By doing this, we believe that everybody wins. The Foundation is funded by the help of corporate and individual donors and by special events.

Education comes in many different forms throughout a child’s life and Growe believes that experiential learning is crucial to shaping children’s understanding, values and behavior. By providing children with engaging educational experiences that connect them to food, how it’s grown and why fruits and vegetables are essential to their diet, we aim to address the childhood health issues and the environmental problems facing society.

Citizens Committee has a simple mission: to help New Yorkers - especially those in low-income communities - come together to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. Our work is based on the simple belief that New Yorkers understand the needs of their community better than any outsider. We help ordinary people like you to implement their own vision for their neighborhoods and schools. While the projects that we support confront diverse issues, they all address concerns that matter to local residents!

At Kids Around the World, our heartbeat is to share God’s transforming hope through FOOD, PLAY & STORY. We partner with others in order to empower future generations to live hope-filled, Christ-centered lives. This is accomplished through US based meal packing events that provide nutritious meals, building community centered playgrounds in impoverished areas and engaging kids in gospel driven StoryClubs. We believe that quality, early and continuing education is the most effective way to break the cycle of poverty and change destinies. We accomplish this by running sustainable education programs for all children and youth in the Dominican Republic that can be replicated throughout impoverished global communities. It is our vision that all children in the Dominican Republic have the opportunity to receive a superior education and learn to their full potential. 

Envision a future where children and their parents, and their teachers, and their doctors, all believe there is a newer and safer method than drugs–hooking up electrodes to the foreheads of kids to “stimulate” their frontal lobes every night. Imagine millions of children enduring this stigma, this humiliation, this lie about being helped, this encouragement to see themselves as broken devices, and the specter of unknowable long-term brain injury.

HALO believes every child should have the support of a family. We provide housing, healing and education to thousands of homeless and at-risk children. HALO began in Kansas City, MO by HALO Founder Rebecca Welsh, and has served as the foundation of a family for children who need it most since 2005.Our mission is to help one more child spend one less day alone.
