Girls On The Run Of St Louis

To positively impact girls across the Greater St. Louis community through our unique program that combines health and wellness education with a goal-oriented running program.  Our goal is to prepare and educate girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living during their critical years of development (i.e. ages 8-14).  The program is designed to empower young girls to believe in themselves and embrace their full potential as they become young adults.  We are a non-profit organization supported by the St. Louis community that is financially responsible to ensure long term growth and sustainability.

Beacon Of Hope Lynchburg City Schools

“To instill in ALL Lynchburg City Public School students the aspiration to pursue and to provide them with the tools and resources to attain a post-secondary education.” They believe that Lynchburg’s young people must have fair and equitable access to quality education, make financially literate decisions, and have opportunities to access higher education in order to ensure a secure future. Through Beacon of Hope’s innovative High School Future Centers and the middle and elementary school college access programming that are flourishing in their City Schools, including Kids to College, they hope to help light the way to higher education and a secure future for the region’s workforce.

Andy Roddick Foundation

The mission of the Andy Roddick Foundation is to work with our community to expand opportunities for young people to learn, thrive, and succeed.  We believe that talent is universal but understand that opportunity is not, and we know opportunity matters. Children in low-income communities experience an opportunity gap – they consistently have less enriching opportunities outside the school day than their better-off peers. To eliminate this gap, the Andy Roddick Foundation develops and invests in effective programs to create meaningful opportunities for children to learn, succeed, and thrive. For more information on how we are expanding opportunities for children and youth, visit our Programs page.
