By shining a spotlight on critical issues, we rally communities of advocates who take action and invest money to empower women.
Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon. We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.
Social Guidance Association has been at the forefront of making a difference in the lives of children since 2005. A Lebanese-registered organization, SGA works among the most vulnerable in the Middle East and North African region. Through all that we do, we seek to improve the quality of life and impact the hearts of children and youth in Lebanon and the greater MENA region.
Sanabel Nour was established in Tripoli, Lebanon in 1995. Since then we were dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities in our city. We believe that every person has the right to a dignified and fulfilling life, and it is our mission to work towards a world where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. To that end, we support initiatives that promote livelihoods, education, and health, with a particular focus on orphans and other vulnerable groups. We are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all of our programs and operations, and to collaborating with local partners and communities to ensure that our efforts are sustainable and have a lasting impact. Initiative One: Livelihoods and Self-sufficiency: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities in Tripoli. Our mission is to provide essential goods and services to those in need. We believe that everyone has the right to a basic standard of living, and by collecting and distributing in-kind donations, we aim to improve the lives of individuals and communities suffering from poverty, conflict, or natural disasters. We strive to be a responsible and efficient steward of our resources, and to use every donation to its maximum potential in order to make a real and lasting impact on the world. Initiative Two: Education: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to advancing education and decreasing school drop outs. Our mission is to promote and provide access to quality education for all, with a focus on orphans and disadvantaged communities. We believe that education is a fundamental human right and a powerful tool for addressing poverty, inequality, and social injustice. We work to improve educational outcomes and opportunities for children, youth, and adults, through a range of initiatives including teacher training, support for learning infrastructure and afternoon tutoring centers/ programs. Sanabel also provides registration fees for students at public schools and universities. We envision a world where every person has the opportunity to realize their full potential through education. Initiative Three: Health and Medical Care: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of underserved communities in the city. Our mission is to provide access to quality medical care - including preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services, by providing financial support for these areas - as well as to address the underlying social and economic determinants of health through our researchers' team. Initiative Four: Palliative Care for Cancer Patients: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to providing relief from the symptoms and stress at advanced stages of cancer. Our mission is to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families by providing access to comprehensive and compassionate medical care, as well as support services to address the physical, spiritual, emotional, and practical challenges of living with cancer. We strive to increase awareness and understanding of cancer, advocate for the rights and needs of cancer patients, and support research to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. We believe that no one should have to face cancer alone, and it is our commitment to be a source of hope, support, and strength for those affected by this disease.

3. The objects for which the Company is established are: 3.1 To advance the education of the public by all charitable means; 3.2 To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by: 3.2.1 The preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and the prudent use of natural resources; 3.2.2 The relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities; and 3.2.3 The promotion of sustainable means for achieving economic growth and regeneration. In this context 'sustainable development' means development which meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.
Maharat is women led, Beirut based organization, working as a catalyst, defending and advancing the development of democratic societies governed by the values of freedom of expression and respect for human rights. Maharat advances the societal and political conditions that enhance freedom of expression and access to information, both online and offline. Maharat engages and equips a progressive community in Lebanon and the MENA region with the skills and knowledge necessary to create change.
We spread joy worldwide through music, art, circus and dance. Working with vulnerable, abandoned, outcast and poorly people, we run creative sessions to help build confidence, aid childhood development and strengthen communication.
Providing a high-quality educational experience for learners at all levels and to all members of the society, starting from primary school all the way through to continuous career development. We work hard to provide the learners with essential tools, materials and high-end technology to support their learning experience and ensure they have access to knowledge regardless of their geographical location. We aim to increase the learners' level of knowledge, skills and professionalism to the highest so they can contribute toward re-building the community.
Women Win's vision is that of a world in which every adolescent girl and young woman fully exercises her rights. Our mission is to advance the playing field that empowers girls through sport and play. Women Win is the global leader in girls and women's empowerment through sport. We leverage the power of play to help adolescent girls and young women build leadership skills and become better equipped to exercise their rights. Since 2007, we have impacted the lives of 2,822,400 adolescent girls and young women directly and indirectly in over 100 countries. This is possible thanks to collaborations with a wide variety of grassroots women's organisations, companies, development organisations, sports bodies and government agencies. Women Win currently supports initiatives in Asia, Africa, Middle East, North and South America. Our work is focused on empowering girls and young women through sport, emphasising the prevention of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and economic empowerment. In practice this involves developing high quality specialised tools and curricula; delivering training and capacity building workshops; monitoring and evaluation tools and systems development; and providing strategic and programmatic support. Women Win invests in and manages a diverse portfolio of global partners with approximately 1.5 million euros of direct funding granted annually.
femLENS' mission is to visually educate and make technologically aware the most vulnerable and resourceless women of our society through documentary photography made accessible by mobile phone cameras and cheaper point and shoot cameras.
This fund splits donations evenly between two organizations on the ground working to support those affected by the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. International Medical Corps: IMC launched emergency services to support the response to the explosion and are coordinating closely with the government, Red Cross and other responders to quickly provide surge capacity to stretched hospitals and health facilities. IMC teams are mobilizing urgently needed supplies and deploying staff from unaffected health facilities to hospitals caring for patients. They are also preparing to support mental health needs for those affected by this emergency. UNICEF: UNICEF is co-ordinating very closely with authorities and partners on the ground to respond to the needs of those affected, including health workers and other front-line workers. We have provided drinking water to the staff at the Beirut port and are supporting the Ministry of Public Health to take out what is left of stored medicines and vaccines in a warehouse at the port. Child protection partners are providing psycho-social support to affected children across the city. Over the coming days, we will increase our efforts to reach families in need with assistance.
